ICONMA’s
Diversity Program
ICONMA
is a Woman Owned consulting firm providing Professional Services and
Solutions to a broad range of Fortune 1000 organizations nationwide.
CEO Claudine George, founded ICONMA
in 2000, on the principle that success is derived from delivering
high quality service while being responsible, flexible, and innovative.
The commitment to this principle has led ICONMA
to become certified as a Woman Owned organization by both the National
Woman Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC) and Women’s Business
Enterprise National Council (WBENC). In 2004, this commitment to diversity
afforded ICONMA
the prestige’s honor of being named one of the top 100 diversity-owned
businesses.
ICONMA works diligently
in every facet of business to promote its own diversity, as well as
aggressively partnering with other Minority/Women Business Enterprises
(MWBEs) and promoting diversity through employment.
ICONMA’s Diversity
ICONMA has worked continuously
to maximize its own diversity as a MWBE since achieving certification
from NWBOC and WBENC. Partnering with clients nationwide who encourage
MWBEs has allowed ICONMA to build
a solid name for itself and generate revenues. Since opening our doors
for business in 2000 we have experienced a 450% growth in revenue.
“Opportunities are abundant for businesses offering diversity
and we are in the market to capitalize on those opportunities to push
our business to the next level,” said Claudine George, CEO of
ICONMA LLC, “Companies
are approaching us to help them put diversity into their business
model.”
MWBE Partnerships
ICONMA realizes that having MWBE
certification allows us as an organization move to the next level.
ICONMA’s business model
encourages partnerships with other MWBE. These partnerships with MWBEs
are critical to the success of our business. This only enhances ICONMA’s
strong business foundation, by bringing alike resources together for
one common goal; deliver high quality service while being responsible,
flexible, and innovative.

Recent research, suggest that within the
next year 6.5 African Americans, 5.4 million Hispanics and 2.5
million Asian Americans will be online. In addition, a second
study conducted showed 76% of African Americans and 68% of Latinos
said they typically visit an ethnic site as part of their internet
experience. The same study found 50% African American respondents
used the internet for job searching compared to 38% of Latinos.
We have programs that will effectively target these minority
groups. We are using online resources effectively to attract
minority candidates. |
