Eric Janda, Senior Manager of Client Service Delivery, will be celebrating his 10th anniversary at ICONMA this year! He works directly and engages with the company’s client accounts to maintain client satisfaction. What does a typical day in your role look like?
A typical day in my role is multifaceted with a variety of responsibilities. I start my morning reviewing our client accounts. This involves maintaining professional relationships with our existing client base to better understand their needs and ensuring ICONMA exceeds their expectations. Client engagement is a driving factor for success in this position. My day also requires strategic planning, I collaborate with multiple teams throughout my day to reach potential clients and help expand ICONMA’ s client base. There are days I’m required to troubleshoot issues while coming up with creative solutions to address the issues at hand.
The role of a Senior Client Delivery Manager is pivotal in maintaining client satisfaction, driving revenue, and contributing to the overall success of ICONMA.
What do you love about your job?
I love being able to work with multiple teams and clients. Being able to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a variety of industries provides me with a plethora of knowledge and insight. It feels as if it’s been a never-ending learning experience and I have enjoyed every moment of the experience. Helping improve and continue to build the ICONMA brand has been a challenge at times but also a rewarding experience. I really enjoy being hands on in multiple facets of the staffing industry.
Any advice for job seekers?
My advice to job seekers would be to build a strong understanding of the industry. My time with ICONMA has really helped me develop a well-rounded understanding of the industry. This has been a key factor in finding success in this position. Networking is another driving factor for someone looking to get into a Client Delivery Manager role. Networking and continuously building your network. This will help expand your knowledge as well as potential client base. Multitasking skills are very important in this role. Wearing so many different hats can make it challenging to stay on task at times, but it is key to develop these skills, so you do not feel overwhelmed.
