Analeigha Ewing has been working with the ICONMA team for two years, most recently in her role as a manager of account management operations. As a part of her job, she works closely with our account managers and corporate recruiters to help maintain our company’s presence on each of our accounts. Here is a look into her daily work responsibilities and some advice for those looking for a new position.
What does a typical day look like?
I work with our Account Managers to maintain the overall health of their accounts and work towards our ICONMA goal of being a top supplier on each of our accounts. This includes reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to track overall account progress and highlighting improvement areas. This will also involve having daily and weekly conversations with Account Managers or leaders on our team to brainstorm strategies and collaborate on ways to improve our processes or performance. For our priority accounts, I will also join client meetings to review things like our quarterly scorecards and program updates or chat about our success on the account.
In addition to working with our account managers, I collaborate with one of our corporate recruiters and our leadership team to identify and recruit the best talent to join our ICONMA family. As part of our process, I typically conduct first-round interviews with prospective account managers or account support specialists and provide that feedback to our internal team before determining the next steps.
What do you love about your job?
What I love most about my job are the amazing people I work with daily. We have such a supportive and collaborative culture here at ICONMA, and I have felt valued since I began my journey here almost two years ago. ICONMA is unique, and it’s hard to come by a team like ours, so I am incredibly grateful. I also love that at the core of what we do, we are helping people find their next opportunity. We specialize in so many verticals and have such a diversified book of business our company continues to grow and help attract top talent.
Any advice for job seekers?
My advice would be to understand what you are looking for in your next role and what skillsets you possess to help get you there. Once you have this outlined, highlight it in your resume and tailor your resume for each position you apply to. Also, when you have an opportunity to interview, always be prepared with questions. These questions should be focused on what is important to you in your next role or trying to understand what a “day in the life” would look like.
