ICONMA’s Director of Business Development Operations works with multiple teams within the company, including the US Internal Hiring Team, Marketing Team, RFP, and Sales Team, along with meeting and interviewing potential candidates for our open internal positions. ICONMA’s Director of Business Development Operations, Amber Gudowski, who has worn many hats throughout her time with ICONMA, shares her experiences over the ten years she’s had with the company and what her role currently consists of.

Amber Gudowski’s career with ICONMA started back in April 2011, working in an Account Support Role. Over the past 10+ years, Amber has had the opportunity to hold multiple positions within ICONMA, including a National Account Manager role which spanned over five years.
“Having the opportunity to start within Account Support and organically grow into my Director role today showcases the opportunity for growth and development within ICONMA. Being a certified women-owned business and having a focus on women in leadership is so important. ICONMA’s current US Corporate Management team comprises 68.8% women – how amazing is that?”
Typical day
In her current role with ICONMA, Amber has the opportunity to partner with so many teams, which excites her and ensures that each day brings on new challenges. Amber currently partners with ICONMA’s US Internal Hiring Team, Marketing Team, RFP, and Sales Team.
“I love meeting new potential employees and enjoy the opportunity to interview folks that are interested in working for ICONMA. Even with the challenges of the pandemic, ICONMA has really showcased its loyalty to its staff. The culture and team are one of a kind, and it is exciting to speak to our successes with potential candidates.”
What I love about my job
When it comes to the things she enjoys most about her job,
it is the fact that ICONMA truly cares about its employees.
“When working for large organizations, employees can get lost in the shuffle and feel as though they are not making an impact. At ICONMA, we strive to have an open-door policy, which allows for employees at all levels to interact on a day-to-day basis. Meeting with various teams and strategizing allows us to continue our growth and streamline our day-to-day processes. We have been very fortunate to grow, even during a pandemic, and add to our team. It has been amazing to see our client base and team grow over these past 10+ years, and I cannot wait to see what happens in the next ten years.”
