ICONMA has made this year’s list of Diversity-Owned Staffing Firms in the US & Canada by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). This year’s list comprises 151 staffing firms that self-identify as being under diversity ownership. “Among firms on the list, 91 reported they were women-owned and 74 cited diversity ownership such as African American, Hispanic American, Asian American or LGBTQ, with 5 firms citing veteran ownership,” SIA said in a recent press release.
“SIA’s diversity-supplier list dates back over a decade, with a focus on heightening visibility for the list and for the ongoing conversation around diversity and inclusion in more recent years,” said Subadhra Sriram, Editor & Publisher, Media Products, at SIA. “But diversity and inclusion cannot remain just a conversation.
Each firm was able to list the top one or two segments from which it derives most of its revenue. Firms that cited a certification — such as NMSDC (National Minority Supplier Development Council) or WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council) — which ICONMA has been a part of for the past two decades.
