Troy, Michigan – ICONMA’s Headquarters
Southeast Michigan is home to Michigan’s most famous city – Detroit. The Motor City is known for legendary music, putting America on wheels, and recently, is touted as being America’s Comeback City.
About 15 miles north of Detroit is Troy, a city that has its own list of accolades, including being ranked as the safest city in Michigan, the best place to raise a family, and one of the best places in the U.S. to start a business (Nerdwallet). Troy is one of Michigan’s economic hubs with many companies throughout the city.
Troy is home to ICONMA’s largest office, our headquarters. We’re proud to have staff here who have been with the company for the majority of the time we’ve been in business, as well as new hires and everyone in between. Founded in 2000 we, will celebrate our 20th anniversary on April 14, 2020.
Along with working hard, our teams in Troy have fun with potlucks, team outings, friendly competitions, holiday events, and more, including our first ever tailgate for the University of Michigan vs. Michigan State game on November 16, 2019.
Our headquarters are home to our Human Resources, Payroll, Contractor Relations Specialists, Recruiting, Account Management, Business Development, and Healthcare Teams. Each team plays an important role in our operations. Here’s a closer look at what each of our teams do at ICONMA.
Human Resources and Payroll Teams
Our Human Resources and Payroll Teams take care of our internal and external employees by making sure all their paperwork is up to date and that they get paid. They also coordinate our many benefits offerings.
Our Contractor Relations Specialist (CRS) Team facilitates the onboarding process for new contractors and is their main point of contact with ICONMA while they work with us.
Recruiting
The Recruiting Team works to fill positions with ICONMA clients by reaching out to candidates looking for new opportunities, and also sourcing passive candidates.
Account Management
The Account Management Team oversees our client relationships and makes sure that we’re providing them with excellent service.
The Business Development Team helps ICONMA continue to grow by finding new clients and additional opportunities within current clients.
ICONMA Healthcare
Over the last few months we’ve expanded our healthcare division and have added many partners in the healthcare space. Our focus is providing the best healthcare talent to our partners all over the country.
Our Troy office has been the heart of ICONMA operations since 2000 and it will be for years to come. We’re growing and expanding all the time with opportunities for people to join each of our teams, both in Michigan, and in some of our other offices. Claudine George, CEO
Claudine George began her career as an IT consultant to the automotive industry. In 1999, while still working as a contractor, she founded her first company; Computer Systems Group, matching engineering and IT consultants with clients on the west coast.
In 2000, she used that experience to start ICONMA, a Troy, Michigan-based consulting firm that provides IT & Professional Staffing Services globally.
Claudine was recently recognized as the recipient of the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council Legacy Award, and previously named an Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur of the Year in the staffing and support services category.
