ICONMA Honored by the Michigan Veteran Affairs Agency as a Certified Veteran-Friendly Employer.
October 27, 2016
ICONMA was recently honored by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) as a Bronze-level Veteran-Friendly Employer. ICONMA was recognized for our commitment to becoming a Veteran-Friendly Employer. This honor will provide ICONMA the resources to help better recognize and support veterans and the valuable skills and experiences they bring to the workplace.
CSM (Ret.) David L. Dunckel, CBSP, Acting Strategy Director, Senior Analyst, Employment at the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency presented ICONMA, with the Veteran-Friendly Employer certification and commended our commitment to veteran employment.
“ICONMA is honored to be certified as a MVAA Veteran-Friendly Employer,” said Natalie Bertoia, Strategic Delivery Manager at ICONMA. “We recognize the importance of hiring veterans and are proud to support the men and women who have served the United States by assisting with job placement once they complete their service.”
MVAA recognizes employers that commit to military veteran recruitment, training and retention practices by awarding those employers Gold, Silver and Bronze level status as Veteran-Friendly Employers. MVAA’s Veteran-Friendly Employer program helps qualified organizations recruit and retain top veteran talent while providing others a road map to improve their recruitment efforts.
