ICONMA’s Content Manager, Alayssia, supports marketing efforts, internal campaigns, and hiring initiatives. This includes creating and publishing content to ICONMA’s social media platforms and website. Alayssia partners with multiple teams across the business, including our internal hiring team, business development, RFP team, and recruiters globally.
Typical Day
“A typical day as ICONMA’s content manager starts by connecting with our recruiting team on what our current job opportunities are. Next, we send out a weekly email requesting what “Hot Jobs” we can feature on ICONMA’s social media channels. We then create graphics to share on ICONMA’s LinkedIn and Facebook pages to gain further reach for our current opportunities.”
Then I will review our monthly Diversity and Heritage Calendar to note any upcoming events that we would feature on ICONMA’s social media pages. For certain events, I will reach out to our teams for employee engagement. For example, we had a lot of participation for this year’s Diwali event in our Hyderabad office, so I’ll make sure to share those photos and videos online after the event.
I will then connect with my team on any new starts at the company to create a “New Employee Spotlight” to share across the company, welcoming our new team members.
The majority of my job involves brand management. I create and manage internal and digital marketing campaigns, review our internal marketing material to ensure it’s ICONMA’s brand and cohesive across all documents and oversee our monthly internal newsletter. I work closely with our RFP team to support new business development with presentations and create new marketing material for our BDM team. I review our job board sites such as Glassdoor and Indeed to update as needed and respond to any reviews weekly. Recently, I hosted a social media training WebEx on how our recruiters can leverage social media and enhance their LinkedIn profile.”
