ICONMA Happy Hour Recap
Anurag Ranjan, Business Development Manager at ICONMA, hosted the company’s first happy hour event post-COVID-19 in Richmond, Virginia. ICONMA’s Happy Hour was a huge success, and the ICONMA team was excited to bring back in-person events after two years.
What inspired you to plan an ICONMA happy hour event?
“Our DA team has grown quite a bit. I really wanted all of us to get a chance to meet and have some fun. Most of the team have only met virtually during work meetings, and I thought it would be nice to get everyone to meet each other.”
How was the turn out?
“The event was great! We had an awesome time getting to see each other and enjoying some good food and drinks. We also had a few musical performances, which was amazing.”
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been difficult to gather and attend different work conferences – what has your personal experience been with this over the last few years?
“Yes, with [COVID-19], things have definitely changed. There are a few more protocols to complete prior to attending events. I think that’s great because it keeps everyone safe yet allows everyone to have a good time and network with many people.”
Any plans for another happy hour event?
“Yes! We are planning to have this twice a year!”
